TWO FISH CHARTERS LATEST NEWS

Greetings fellow fishermen,

For those of you that have not been on one of our fishing trips to the Dry Tortugas lately, I would like to share with you some recent news from Key West.
Starting this month I will be the sole operator of Two-Fish Charters so will be handling all the bookings and payments myself.   Laurie Schultz will not be taking on any more accounting or booking duties.  Please call or mail me directly with any questions about booking, payments and reservations.   Email - yuri@two-fishcharters.com   Phone -  305 797-6396
All check payments should be made out to Capt. Yuri's Charters, Inc. and correspondence should now be mailed to :

At this time I would like to remind everyone to review Two-Fish Charters booking, payment, and cancellation policies before booking a trip, if you have not done so already.

We would greatly appreciate it if all groups would make only single payments as a group for the trip, according to our policies, instead of sending in individual payments.  Starting June 1 of this year, any new bookings with individual payments will be charged a 2.5% processing fee.  It takes a lot of time and effort for us to process individual payments, and we would rather concentrate our efforts on what we do best, which is fishing.
Even though our cost of operation has gone up considerably in the last 3 years, we have decided to keep our prices the same for another year.  Please note that the new RATES will be going into effect  March 29, 2015.  If you have a trip that is booked with us after that date, we will be emailing you an updated invoice.  Of course if your trip is affected by this price increase, you still have the option to cancel the trip with a full refund, or perhaps re-book during Jan.-March. 2015 with the present lower rates.

Our marina had undergone a major renovation last year and we are finally at our new, permanent location.  The directions to our new boat slip can be found on our website HERE at the bottom of the page.

Last February we have worked very hard to make every ones stay on board our vessel more comfortable and enjoyable than ever.
"Lauren Jeanne" got a major make over.  Everything got a fresh coat of paint, there has been some new built in ice boxes added, new side cabin windows, back deck chairs, etc., etc.  In light of these changes, we kindly ask all parties to help us to keep our vessel looking good for everyone on board.  Here are a few things to keep in mind for your next fishing trip:
  • Please make sure you only bring non marking boat shoes for your trip.  If the shoes are made out of leather, please keep them on the back deck for the night, not inside the cabin.
  • Please limit your rods/reels to 5 per person, 30 total.  Additional rods that do not fit into either rod racks above or rod holders will not be allowed on board.
  • Since we have a new built in drink box on the back deck now, there is no need to bring an additional drink cooler on board.  We will have ice for your drinks in the new box.  Also, please limit your food/bait coolers in both size and quantity.  This will keep the back deck clear to fight fish and make it easier for both of us to move around without tripping and stumbling.  It also helps to keep the back deck clean and scuff free.
  • There are two wash down hoses on the back deck, so please take a few seconds to rinse down any fish and bait remains.  Left over fish waste gets tracked inside the cabin, and then stinks horribly.  I know most groups are great with cleaning up, but a few need a reminder.
  • Please make sure that there is a clean sheet fitted over your bunk at the beginning of the trip.  We provide every bunk with a  clean bed sheet, and of course you can bring your own.  If you prefer to use your own sleeping bag, make sure there still is a clean sheet over the bunk.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, concerns or suggestions about our fishing trips, or about any new changes.
On behalf of everyone at Two-Fish Charters would like to thank you all for being such loyal clients.  I am looking forward to providing you with the very best charter fishing experience in the Dry Tortugas!
